In short: we use the information you give us to deal with your enquiry, provide agreed services and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Who is responsible for your information?
Seventy3 Automotive Limited is the controller of personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14339215. Our registered office is Suite 1 Telford House, Warwick Road, Carlisle, United Kingdom, CA1 2BT. Our trading address is Unit 5, Silverlaw Industrial Estate, Annan, DG12 5EJ.
Privacy enquiries can be sent to sales@seventy3.co.uk or made by telephone on 07767 246948.
Information we collect
Depending on your enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, vehicle registration, make and model, mileage, preferred vehicle, approximate budget, delivery location and anything you include in your message. We may also receive the page from which an enquiry was sent and the referring page, where your browser supplies it.
If you later buy, sell, part exchange or arrange services for a vehicle, we may collect additional identity, address, transaction, payment and vehicle records outside this website. Please do not send bank details, income information, identity documents or special-category information through a website enquiry form.
How and why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and take steps you request before a possible contract.
- To arrange viewings, sourcing, preparation, delivery, servicing, MOT or warranty support.
- To assess a vehicle offered for sale or part exchange.
- To make a finance introduction when you ask us to do so.
- To keep appropriate business records, prevent misuse and establish or defend legal claims.
- To comply with legal, accounting, regulatory and law-enforcement obligations.
Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating the business, answering genuine enquiries, maintaining records and protecting the website. Where consent is the appropriate basis, you may withdraw it at any time.
Website forms and service providers
Website enquiries are delivered to Seventy3 through FormSubmit. We also use website-hosting, email and IT suppliers to operate the site and communications. These providers may process limited information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only as needed to provide their services or meet their own legal obligations.
Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we require an applicable legal transfer mechanism or rely on another safeguard recognised by UK data-protection law.
Finance enquiries
If you ask about finance, Seventy3 will first respond about the vehicle and proposed introduction. We will not send your enquiry details to Holmesdale Finance Limited unless you ask or agree to the introduction. Holmesdale then acts under its own privacy information and is responsible for finance eligibility, terms and any application. Do not send financial or identity documents to Seventy3 through this website.
Who we may share information with
Where necessary, information may be shared with our website, email and IT providers; professional advisers; vehicle, delivery, warranty or service providers involved in your request; Holmesdale Finance following an agreed introduction; and regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where required by law. We do not sell or rent customer information.
How long we keep it
Website enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Records connected with a purchase, sale, part exchange, service or finance introduction may normally be kept for up to six years after the relationship ends. We may keep information longer where required by law, an active complaint or a legal claim, and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent where consent is used. These rights are not absolute, and we may need to verify your identity before responding.
To exercise a right, email sales@seventy3.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to resolve your concern first.
Cookies and external content
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. The hosting service may use storage that is strictly necessary for security and operation. The embedded Google map may allow Google to receive technical information and use cookies or similar storage under its own terms. You can use the separate directions link if you would prefer not to interact with the embedded map.
Security and automated decisions
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information, but no internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Seventy3 does not use website enquiry information to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
